Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast who was captain for The US female Olympic gymnastics 2012 Fierce Five team and in the year 2016. In 2016, she was part of the Final Five. In 2012 her year, she received gold for team events in addition to the floor exercises. When it came to the balance beam, Raisman earned a bronze. It made her the first American gymnast in the Olympics who won the most medals. In the 2016 Olympics she was awarded a gold medal for the team event. This earned her and teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having been the first Americans to have two consecutive gold medals in a team. Also, she took home silver medals at the floor and individual all-around exercises. The two Olympics she took an absence from competitive gymnastics for three years. She won gold in the Olympics. American team also took part in the two World Championships. The event she enjoys the most is the dance on the floor. The gymnastics training began in the year she turned two years young. Aly has joined the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group to honor her late grandma. She is determined to pursue an enviable career in fashion. Her distinctive leotards, socks and other items will be expanded on in the near future. Fierce is her first book, which she will release later this year.
