Nathan John Feuerstein was born March 30, 1991. His initials NF (stylized IF) are an American rapper, singer and songwriter. He has released two EPs, I'm Free (2012),[3] and an EP with a self-titled title in 2014, with Capitol CMG. Mansion, his first major-label album, came out in March 2015. His second studio album Therapy Session came out on April 22, 2016. It reached number 12 on the US Billboard 200. The albums have earned him numerous awards, including the Gospel Music Association Dove Award (Therapy Session) for Rap/Hip Hop Albums of the Year. Perception reached number one in the United States in 2017, and the third single, "Let You down" was ranked 12 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Billboard Hot 100 reached number one in the US and was also a top 10 worldwide chart hit. The Search (2019) was his second album. The album also enjoyed the same commercial success. Feuerstein said that rap was a means of escape for his family members during his childhood. Feuerstein recorded songs on the Karaoke Machine, recording his instrumentals on one mic, and his raps on one. Feuerstein released Moments his debut album of his own on the 29th of November, 2010. The first single, "Alone", was released on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith was the songwriter and the producer of the track. Xist Music came to Feuerstein’s work in the year 2012. Feuerstein debuted his expanded version of I'm Free on May 2nd in 2012, with production by Profitt. The tracklist featured nine tracks, including "Alone". The EP also contained the original version of Alone with Sean Simmonds. Xist announced the release of the self-titled extended play, NF, but Feuerstein broke off from the label following a dispute and the release of NF was postponed. Despite this, NF featured a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams, on the compilation album released by the label Move Vol 1. The single was released, "Beautiful Addiction", on the 4th of November 2013, 2013. Profitt returned to the song, along with vocals by Brady Schmitz (vocals) and Danielle Swift (vocals).
